REMODELED OFFICE

     We finished our extensive remodel in June of 2008, both inside and outside.  We added two complete exam rooms, two pre-test rooms, a dispensing room and more to better serve you - our patients.  We also modified the front and exposed the 100 year old leaded beaded glass - that was covered by the tiles.

OPTICAL COHERENCE TOMOGRAPHER (OCT)

            Our office has recently purchased the most sophisticated instrument for monitoring and treating retina problems.    It sends a laser type beam into the eye which can measure the thickness of the retinal layers.  In glaucoma, these retinal layers get thin. The OCT can usually find these thin areas before there is vision loss.  This is now part of our standard glaucoma, macula, and retinal disease work up.

The black curvy line represents the thickness of the retina.
When this curvy line falls within the green zone - it is normal.
The yellow and red zones show retinas that are thin - in this case probable glaucoma.
